Marlo is a wonderful staff person. The remainder of the experience was awful. The service manager working on my case never acknowledged me despite the fact I was standing outside his office. The mechanic advised Marlo that should trade in my 3 year old car because a part was on back order.

My service advisor was so helpful and courteous. He was far superior to anyone else that I have worked with at this dealership. It was refreshing!

The videos of the mechanic actually showing the areas of the vehicle, and explaining as he went along were tremendous!

A 5 star rating because I not only got the vehicle that I wanted, the experience was pleasant. William was great to work with.

This was the least helpful service visit I've ever had. 1. First, I was told by Pete that my back panels were "clearly taken apart to install an aftermarket dash cam". They weren't as said dash cam is not wired towards the back but looks at the passenger space so I can clearly tell what level of assessment the crew performed. This included pulling panels further apart than they were without at least pushing them back to the state they were found. I ended up fixing these issues myself by just pushing the panels back instead of the $166/hr quote I've received from you. I've lost my confidence in you when I was told that my vizor stem was getting dislodged because "the top panel was clearly taken apart". Ironically after this, I just pulled the vizor stem out further and then pushed it back, so it was an easy fix, which I would have preferred to leave to the so-called experts. 2. I don't know what a multi-point inspection means in your service department, but definitely did not seem to have involved reviewing the "10K service needed popup" that comes up every time the car is turned on. Accordingly, said reminder message was not cleared either by your team. Again I've never been to a service before where vehicle service messages were left unaddressed. 3. I was told that "we drove your car around and it drives straight" in response to my concern of steering misalignment. I'm not an expert but I suspect that driving the car about 20 yards in a straight line (remember, dash cam) might be insufficient to make this declaration with such confidence. That said, kudos to the guy fixing the misalignment, he did do a great job! Overall I've had a dismissive, unhelpful experience that did not raise any kind of confidence in Heritage VW Parkville's ability to perform even basic maintenance on an ID4. Yet again, at least the wheel alignment guy did an outstanding job.
