If you’ve ever driven the new Volkswagen Atlas, you already know what kind of ride you can expect from this three-row SUV. That said, the auto experts at Heritage Volkswagen Parkville are excited to announce the arrival of a sportier version of this large SUV.

Introducing the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport, a smaller and zippier version of the same three-row SUV that has captivated drivers everywhere. The new VW Atlas Sport may yet to be in our showroom, but we already know a lot about what this SUV has to offer.

Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport Specifications

For one, the Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport removes the third row of seating, opting instead for a body that is 2.8 inches shorter and 2.3 inches lower than the traditional VW Atlas. Although, regardless of these adjustments, the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport is expected to still have a 117.3-inch wheelbase, granting this two-row SUV with more overall stability on the road.

The VW Atlas Cross Sport also gets some upgrades, including LED daytime running lights and a redesigned exterior that uses chrome accents tastefully throughout the redesign. Inside, there is room for five, and in the rear, passengers can expect 40.4 inches of leg space. The VW Atlas Cross Sport also boasts 77.8 cubic feet of total cargo space with the rear seat folded flat. Drivers can also expect the same powertrain layout found in the full-size model, promising?some serious handling and performance.
